I am particularly interested in French and Italian history (14thc to 18th c in particular). And- as you may have noticed, this blog is dedicated to my muse...Josephine...You'll find lots of material on her at my site, that's for sure!
Venice is also my love and I post regualrly on everything and anything Venetian. I adore antique books that deal with both art and history. So, look forward to lots of posts on this as well (not to mention some of my own art dabbling:)
Please note that my reviews are my own personal opinion. I do not get paid for writing my reviews. I graciously accept books offered to me- and I only review those that I enjoy reading. If I am not enjoying what I'm reading, I simply set the book aside- and DON'T review it at all. I see no point in spending energy on writing something negative.
